Welcome to B&B Duca di Uzeda
The B&B is situated 150 MT from the famous Porta Uzeda, which takes its name from the Spanish viceroy Duke of Uzeda.
He realized the project of the new city after the earthquake of 1693. Federico de Roberto was inspired by the duke and its family in his most famous novel I Vicere’.
The B&B is located at the 1st floor in a building of the xx century, just behind the older and folkloristic A Piscaria, one ofthe most traditional and characteristic fish market in Sicily. Simple and stylish rooms are equipped with every comfort for a delightful stay in the city. The old city, the Cathedral, the door of Charles V, are some of the marvelous things you can see from the rooms of the B&B.
Uzeda door is the entrance to the historical city. Via Etnea is one of the main streets with squares, historical building, and offering the opportunity to go shopping and taste traditional local dishes.
